Mark Pannell was born in 1947 and grew up on a small farm in South Georgia. In 1974 he met and married Rebecca and God blessed them with two sons. Although nominally religious before, he became zealous for the Arminian faith about 1979. In 1986 God brought him to the Gospel of His Sovereign Grace in Christ and revealed the “god” in his mind before then to be an idol of his imagination. Shortly afterward, he embraced the Gospel and repented of his former idolatry and dead works.  Since then, he has sought to see “Christ crucified” in whatever context of the Scripture he is studying. He currently shares the pulpit of Eager Avenue Grace Church with several other like minded men. And, Lord willing, plans to do that as long as he is needed and able.
